He is a graduate of the Central High School, Drexel University (BS Accounting), LaSalle University (MBA-Finance), and a May 2013 graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (LTSP), Master of Divinity: Black Church Concentration. He was the 2010 Recipient of the LTSP Rev. Dr. Joseph Q. Jackson for academic excellence. He was a member of the Second Macedonia Baptist Church , which was pastored by the late Rev. Dr. Thomas J. Ritter. There he has served as Administrative Assistant to the Pastor, Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, Music Ministry Choir Director and numerous other roles.

He was ordained a deacon by his home church in 1982 and licensed to preach in 1999. He was ordained into the Full Gospel Ministry by the Thankful Baptist Church in February 2013. Currently, Reverend Ross is serving as an Associate Minister, at the Thankful Baptist Church of Philadelphia. Under the capable leadership and guidance of the late Rev. Ivan B. Hewitt, he has been privileged to work with the Sunday School, the Youth, Evangelism, the Church Newsletter, Vacation Bible School and the Music Ministry.

Additionally, he has served for the past twenty-eight years as the director of the Drexel University Gospel Choir. This choir has traveled throughout the United States and abroad praising the Lord through song and dance. He recorded a live CD with Drexel entitled "Not to Us" in which he penned three of the songs on the project, including the title selection. He has received numerous awards as a faculty member at Drexel.

Married in 1986 to his college sweetheart (who is also a preacher), the former Beatrice Elaine Baldwin, they have two sons, Eugene Gregory and Evan Gregory both musicians. He praises God for an opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ with everyone that he meets. He realizes that today more than ever, Jesus needs to be lifted up so that spiritually dying men and women will find hope and eternal life in Christ.

Be Encouraged. Walk in Excellence. Speak Life.

I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
